GOUROCK girls and boys have enjoyed fun-filled summer afternoons at the local library.
Inverclyde Council's 'summer of fun' activities were in full swing at Gourock Library, with youngsters going along each week to take part in 'Wild World Wednesdays'.
As well as enjoying Bookbug sessions, there were a number of arts and crafts activities to keep little ones entertained.
Marian Taggart, library customer services officer, told the Tele: "We had a number of activities happening across our libraries to keep children and young people entertained this summer, with various workshops to take part in."
During one of the sessions, little Violet Docherty, who is six, and five-year-old Abbie Greenway were able to create their own parrots and snakes from various arts and crafts materials.
