A DRUNK man caused a disturbance in Gourock.
Police officers were called to an incident outside the Co-op store in Cardwell Road at around 2.45pm on Thursday.
Eyewitnesses saw three police cars and a police van at the disturbance.
Officers were spotted asking members of the public for statements on the street outside the store.
There were also reports of an individual sitting in the back of a police van.
Police Scotland confirmed that the man was issued with a fixed penalty notice and escorted home.
