INVERCLYDE police's counter terrorist liaison officer is working closely with port bosses on vigilance in the face of a number of challenges.
They are looking at international terrorism and import and export changes due to Brexit, as well as the increase in cruise ship activity in recent years.
The liaison officer has also been involved in inspections at Ocean Terminal as well as the training of staff and security officers.
