A GREENOCK man charged with robbing a woman of her bag whilst in possession of a knife is to stand trial before a jury.
Christopher Hendry, 42, is further charged with presenting a knife at two men following the alleged robbery at Clyde Square in February last year.
Prosecutors say that Hendry later spat at a detective sergeant within Greenock police office.
He has pleaded not guilty to the indictment charges through lawyer Aidan Gallagher at the sheriff court.
The case is due to be heard next February.
