Inverclyde Council
SUMMER playschemes across Inverclyde have benefited from a £30,000 cash boost from the council.
The local authority's community fund has supported the facilities at Branchton Community Centre, Craigend Resource Centre, Youth Connections and Auchmountain Community Centre.
It also provided financial help to Inverclyde Leisure's playschemes at Inverkip and Newark primary schools.
The rest of the money in the pot of £369,000 will now be allocated at the next meeting of the grant sub committee.
