EMERGING from the foggy mist which enveloped the Clyde yesterday morning, cruise ship Britannia makes her first and only visit of the season to Greenock.
The 143,000-ton floating pleasure palace glided quietly into her berth at Ocean Terminal at 8am for a nine-hour stopover as part of a seven-day round-trip of the British Isles.
Part of the seven-vessel P&O Cruises fleet, she had set sail from Southampton on Sunday and was due to depart Inverclyde at 5pm yesterday for the return voyage to the English port city.
