INVERCLYDE Foodbank was overwhelmed with the support from the Greenock Telegraph's appeal.
The hugely successful campaign which ran in the summer and was supported by Dallas Carpets, finished with over 1,000 tonnes of food delivered.
As the Tele appeal draws to a close co-ordinator Andrew McAlees said: "Again we would like thank the Tele readers for their generous donations."
But our readers can continue to support the food bank, which is now located in West Stewart Street.
They are currently running low on tinned veg, tinned rice pudding, tinned fruit, coffee and juice.
Donations can be dropped at their new premises, the food bank is opened on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
