INVERCLYDE COUNCIL
AN empty unit at Greenock's waterfront retail park could be transformed into two new restaurants.
The council has been asked for permission for the premises between JD Gyms and Home Bargains to be split and converted for food and drink use.
Planning officials are considering the application.
