NEW research has ranked Inverclyde 20th in a Scottish league table for food hygiene.
A new study by professional kitchen suppliers Maxima Kitchen Equipment rated businesses locally and it found that seven per cent 'needed improvement'.
Aberdeen City was found to be the least hygienic of all 32 local authorities.
