GARY Oliver says Morton’s draw against Arbroath felt more like a defeat.

The Ton striker was left baffled by Craig Napier's spot-kick decision with four minutes to play and believes that his side were worthy of all three points.

He slammed the whistler’s decision and insisted that it was a great piece of defending from Oisin McEntee in his aerial challenge with Colin Hamilton.

The striker admits it was sickening to be denied victory after Michael McKenna’s late penalty made it 2-2 as Ton’s search for a first league win since August 7 continues.

He told the Tele: “It’s a sickener, it feels like a defeat if I’m being honest.

“I thought we were different class in the second half and played as well as we have for as long as I can remember. That’s the only positive we can take from the game.

“Everyone can see that it wasn’t a penalty. It’s one of those decisions that on any other day it won’t get given, so we’ve just got to try and take it as a positive.

“I’m honestly baffled about some of the decisions made. It was a great bit of defending from Oisin, it’s an unbelievable decision in the dying minutes of the game where we’ll struggle to go and get a winner.

“We’re all just absolutely gutted.”
