AN experienced Greenock optician has stressed the importance of regular eye tests.
To mark yesterday's World Sight Day, Jonathon Dry, store manager at Specsavers, highlighted how they can help identify glaucoma and even arthritis.
Glaucoma is one of the leading causes of blindness but if caught early it can be managed.
Jonathon said: "Regular eye examinations are key to detecting it and are so important."
