ONE person was taken to hospital after a crash on a busy Greenock street.
Emergency services rushed to the scene of the accident on Wellington Street yesterday morning.
At least one person was left trapped in one of the stricken vehicles, with fire crews removing a door to get them out, but police said no one was seriously injured.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers were called shortly before 10am following a two-vehicle crash on Wellington Street, Greenock.
“Emergency services attended and one person was taken to hospital."
