Covid hotspots across Scotland in the last week have been identified.

The latest weekly Covid-19 figures have been revealed, highlighting how many people have tested positive for the virus in the last seven days.

Scotland had 16,898 positive cases between October 7 and October 13, which was 309.1 cases per 100,000 population and a test positivity rate of 8.5%.

Of the places with a rate higher than 500 cases per 100,000 population, 30 were from Fife, 15 were from Aberdeenshire and the rest were spread out across Scotland.
