THE death of a man in a Greenock flat is today being treated by police as 'unexplained'.
Officers were called to an address on the town's Inverkip Street at 6am yesterday following the discovery of a body.
A report is now being prepared for the procurator fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 6am on Saturday, 16 October, officers were called to a property in the Inverkip Street area of Greenock, following the sudden death of a man.
"The death is currently being treated as unexplained pending further enquiries."
