James Reid was being taken to Greenock police office.
POLICE are appealing for information after a Ford Eco Sport was stolen.
The car was taken from outside an address in Bay Street, Port Glasgow, between 5.15pm and 6.30pm on Saturday.
Anyone who has any information regarding this vehicle's whereabouts, CCTV or dashcam footage is asked to call officers on 101.
