Gourock golf club
GENEROUS Gourock golfers rounded off a busy year of fundraising by donating £2,500 to a local school.
Club secretary Carol Anderson made the presentation to Craigmarloch head teacher George Walker and some of his pupils.
Club member Jackie Hawthorne, whose sister Senga was a classroom assistant for many years at Lilybank and then Craigmarloch, also attended the presentation.
The club has raised over £63,500 this year, with Ardgowan Hospice, Calum's Cabin, Children's Hospices across Scotland (CHAS) and Kidney Kids Scotland being the main beneficiaries.
Seven other local causes also benefited.
