'dorran' bungalow at Marcus Humphrey House
PLANS have been submitted to completely demolish a bungalow on the grounds of a Freemason-run care home.
If approved bulldozers would clear the 'Dorran' building which currently stands within the grounds of Marcus Humphrey House.
The Grand Lodge wants to reinstate the grounds with high quality landscaping.
The bungalow was previously registered as a day centre, however this service was discontinued in 2017.
Special consent will also be required for the demolition to go ahead, as the property is located within the Quarrier's Village Conservation Area.
