INVERCLYDE COUNCIL
TRANSPORT chiefs are poised to put in a funding bid for the regeneration of West Blackhall Street.
Strathclyde Partnership for Transport have been working on a joint application with road and environment chiefs to make significant improvements to Greenock town centre's main high street.
The application is progressing to a final design stage before being presented to Sustrans, the walking and cycling programme.
