A PORT Glasgow man who was found to be in charge of a car whilst unfit to drive through drug intoxication has been banned from the roads for a year.
Brian Morrison, 56, committed the offence at the town's Parklea Road after 'lapsing back' into substance misuse, Greenock Sheriff Court was told.
Police found him within a grey Volvo S80 saloon in August 2020.
As well having the 12-month driving ban imposed on him, Morrison, of Dougliehill Terrace, was fined £380 and placed under social work supervision for 18 months.
