Edinburgh Court
TELE readers have reported receiving scam calls purporting to be from Edinburgh Sheriff and Justice of the Peace Court.
The false calls claim that 'outstanding payments' are being pursued.
A spokesperson from the court said: "This is a scam and should be ignored.
"We do not proactively call people threatening action over national insurance, unpaid fines or debts."
