ROAD chiefs are continuing to monitor the volume of users for the cycle lanes in Greenock's town centre.
The new routes were introduced with the aim of providing space for pedestrians, cyclists and motorists.
But the Sustran-funded project, which runs from the Battery Park into Greenock, has come in for criticism, with concerns over safety and disruption to traffic.
An update to the environment and regeneration committee this week will tell councillors that all traffic flow of the number of pedestrians and cyclists on the lanes is now 'being looked at'.
