INVERCLYDE MSP Stuart McMillan hailed the official opening of Greenock's new £21m health and care centre by health secretary Humza Yousaf.
Mr McMillan invited Mr Yousaf along to the unveiling of the centre and says it shows the Scottish Government and NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde's commitment to local health services.
He added: "Thanks to significant investment from the Scottish Government, the new centre will help improve health outcomes for the local community by bringing a broad range of services under one roof."
Mr McMillan says he now wants to see a similar replacement for the health centre in Port Glasgow.
He added: "A new facility would be hugely positive for the area and its residents."
