OVER 200 people in Inverclyde contracted coronavirus in the week to last Saturday.
There were 224 positive tests, say Public Health Scotland.
The seven-day rate per 100,000 people was 290, lower than the Scottish average of 322.
Inverclyde currently has the tenth lowest case rate out of all 32 local authority areas in the country.
