A MAN who allegedly tried to swallow a number of white tablets as he was being searched by police was arrested.
The 31-year-old was stopped on Dempster Street on Saturday at 8.45pm.
He now faces prosecution for a drug-related offence and an alleged breach of bail curfew conditions.
