A GREENOCK man who denies breaching a bail condition to stay away from a woman says he went to her aid.
Christopher Cummings, 33, is accused of entering her Clynder Road home uninvited and attempting to approach her.
His lawyer Gerry Keenan told a sheriff: "The defence position is one of reasonable excuse, as his attendance was due to a medical emergency."
Cummings is due to stand trial in December.
