CREATIVE youngsters are being given the chance to create their own eco heroes and villains.
Inverclyde Libraries is running a competition for children aged three to 12 to design colourful 'climate characters'.
To get involved, youngsters should create their character and add their name, age and contact email or phone number to the piece of paper.
Entries can be handed into libraries across Inverclyde or emailed to src@inverclyde.gov.uk with the subject line Climate Character.
The closing date for entries is January 31 and the winners will feature in a new ebook which will launch on World Book Day 2022.
