INVERCLYDE COUNCIL
Plans to hold Christmas markets in Inverclyde have been put on hold by the council.
Inverclyde Council had been holding discussions with community partners about the possibility of holding a local Christmas market, but the Tele understands that these plans have now been shelved until next year.
The postponement was due to difficulties getting plans in place in time for the festive season.
