INVERCLYDE Association for Mental Health say they have had a great reaction to the 48 'hug bags' they delivered to people on their own for Christmas.
The bags were packed full of treats to let people know they weren't alone.
Lorraine Graham, deputy manager at IAMH, based at Broomhill Community Gardens, said: "We’ve had fantastic feedback from people who received the bags and that means a lot.
"Christmas can be a very difficult and isolating time and I hope we’ve helped to ease that loneliness for people in communities all over Inverclyde."
