PARENTS are being invited to register their children to start school this August.
The process, which is now entirely online, is open from Monday until January 14.
Children reaching the age of five between March and February 28 next year 2023 can start primary one at the beginning of the new school term this summer.
The system also allows parents to apply for a deferred entry.
Parents wishing to put in a placing request to a school outside the catchment area must complete the primary one registration first.
