A SAFETY measure to reduce the speed limit in Gourock town centre during the pandemic has been hailed a success.
It was introduced temporarily to help businesses reopening with increased outdoor dining and for pedestrians.
The measure was funded by Sustrans' Spaces for People initiative.
Council chiefs are now looking at introducing it in other town centres in Inverclyde,
This follows a campaign by local councillor Chris Curley.
