WEST Blackhall Street could soon have a new amusement arcade - if plans are approved by Inverclyde Council.
Proposals to sub divide a retail unit on the street into a first floor flat and a ground floor unit have been submitted to the council's planning board.
The application also seeks permission register a change of use for the property to accommodate the arcade and also install a new shopfront.
The Tele understands that the site, which was formerly James Hendry Jewellers, is currently under offer, pending the outcome of both applications which are being deliberated by council officers.
