Fire in houses under construction, Strone, Greenock.
FIREFIGHTERS tackled an early morning blaze at a commercial building in Greenock's east end.
The Scottish Fire & Rescue Service (SFRS) were alerted to the incident on Kilmacolm Road at 4.15am on Wednesday.
The fire took hold in a property adjoining the new Oak Tree Housing Association development in the area.
The SFRS said two appliances were dispatched to the scene to extinguish the fire.
They confirmed there were no reported casualties.
