MUSIC fans raised more than £400 for dedicated staff at Inverclyde Royal Hospital.
The team behind the Blow Up nights at the Broomhill Tavern decided to donate all ticket prices for their Hogmanay celebration to the hospital's haematology and oncology department.
The night of soul, ska and mod tunes on December 31 raised £440 for the cause.
DJ Joe Nelis, who runs the event with fellow DJs Brim and Des, says the music fans wanted to say thank-you to IRH staff for their fantastic care over the years.
Joe added: "This ward is close to our hearts as the staff there have treated many of our loved ones.
"I hope this money will help to support the great team of nurses and staff.
"Their great work doesn't go unnoticed.
"We're very proud to be able to show this token of appreciation."
Joe and his fellow DJs celebrate 21 years of Blow Up this year and their next night is on Saturday January 29 from 8.30pm.
