A PORT Glasgow man has been charged with assaulting a boy to injury.
John Paul Clark, 25, is accused of seizing the child by the neck and face on Fox Street in Greenock.
Prosecutors say that Clark, of Fore Street in the Port, pushed the boy and knocked him to the ground in February 2019.
He has pleaded not guilty at the sheriff court through lawyer Paul Keenan.
The case is due to call again next Tuesday.
