A PORT Glasgow woman teamed up with two of her family members to assault her ex-boyfriend to injury, it is alleged.
Nadia Carter, 24, is said to have punched, struck and scratched the man — along with co-accused Jean Carter, 54 — on his head and body.
Patrick Carter, 22, is charged with attempting to strike the alleged victim with a shovel.
Prosecutors say he also punched the man on the head.
The alleged assaults are said to have taken place within Nadia Carter's home on the Port's Mackie Avenue on August 14 last year.
She and her two co-accused, both of Lansbury Street in Greenock, have pleaded not guilty at the sheriff court through lawyers Amy Spencer and Derek Buchanan.
The case is due to call again in June.
