MORTON boss Dougie Imrie is set to miss the team's next six matches after being hit with a 10-game ban for being found guilty of breaching betting rules following an SFA probe.
The 38-year-old was cited by Hampden chiefs last month for breaching rules on betting on football games over a period between 2011 and 2019.
A judicial panel hearing was held today and issued the punishment.
Imrie will serve an immediate six game ban, with the final four games suspended until the end of next season.
The Championship manager of the month for January was one of 14 different players and coaches involved in the probe.
He should be back in the dugout for Ton’s clash against Ayr at Cappielow on March 26.
