FORMER top flight English football manager Neil Warnock has joined the fans investment group which owns Morton.
The former Sheffield United and Cardiff City boss has a long-standing link with the club through family ties and regularly staying in Dunoon, where he was invited over from for last Friday night's game at Cappielow against Kilmarnock.
Mr Warnock was brought out to be introduced to the crowd at half-time and interviewed by BBC Scotland, who broadcast the game live.
A spokesperson for Morton Club Together said: "Neil thoroughly enjoyed the experience and we think the fans in hospitality, in the ground and watching from home on television did as well."
Warnock's addition to the growing MCT membership list follows that of Ton boss Dougie Imrie, who joined up last week.
MCT said: "It's been a real boost that both Dougie and Neil have decided to support us on our community ownership journey in the past week, and we'll be doing everything we can to see that member number continue to rise towards that next target we've set of 1,000."
