INVERCLYDE COUNCIL
THE UK Government has revealed the number of visas issued in Inverclyde under its Homes for Ukraine scheme.
Latest statistics reveal that eight visas sponsored by individuals had been issued in the district as of April 6.
The Homes for Ukraine Sponsorship Scheme allows Ukranian nationals and their family members to come to the UK if they have a named sponsor.
Inverclyde Council officials have been working with sponsor families to carry out the necessary property and disclosure checks.
