GOUROCK Park Bowling Club got their new season off to a flying start at their annual opening day.
Members, family, friends and invited guests all gathered to watch the new season get underway.
President Davy Byrne's son Jordan delivered the first bowl of the 2022 season.
After the opening ceremony, the members played a wapenshaw before heading into the clubhouse for refreshments.
Gourock Park Secretary Ian Brown told the Tele that the club were pleased to be off and running again.
He said: "We've been operating with a limited capacity for the last two years.
"We've actually picked up a few members over the pandemic through the beginners sessions that we ran to give people something to do.
"We're always looking to get more people involved in bowling.
"Every Saturday from May on anyone can come along and try bowls with one of our coaches, John McCartney, who recently won Bowls Scotland's national volunteer award."
