THE Tele has tickets to give away for a special Scotland v England match in Greenock starring a local player.

Clydeview Academy pupil Millie Paton is to line up in the U-15s game to celebrate 50 years since the first ever women's international fixture.

It takes place in the same place, Ravenscraig Stadium, as part of Inverclyde's Meliora Festival celebrations.

The game is on Sunday May 15, with kick-off at noon and the SSFA have invited players from the first women's match 50 years ago, including Greenock woman Marian Mount.

Thanks to the Tele she was traced and invited to come along as a VIP.
