A GREENOCK man charged with being in unlawful possession of a razor blade on the town's Bearhope Street has been locked up.
Paul Gostelow, 39, is also accused of culpably and recklessly exposing a police officer to risk of injury by allegedly failing to tell the PC that he had the item prior to being searched.
Gostelow, of Nelson Street, is said to have been on three sheriff court bail orders at the time of the alleged offence on Sunday.
He made no plea through lawyer Aidan Gallagher during a petition hearing in private before Sheriff Linda Smith and was remanded in custody.
Gostelow is due back in court next week.
