ACCIDENT and emergency waiting times have improved at Inverclyde Royal.
The percentage of patients who were dealt with within four hours of arrival at the hospital between April 25 and May 1 was 85.3 per cent, a significant improvement on the previous week's figure of 76.9 per cent.
This figure was also higher than the Scottish average, which stood at 71.6 per cent.
It also bettered the NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde Health Board area average, which was 71.2 per cent.
