Swan Song
A special Gourock couple is catching the attention of people passing their home as their family grows by the day. I took this picture of signets awaiting the arrival of their new brothers and sisters that were yet to hatch from their shells at their parents' nest on Cove Road.
Starting with a Splash
This summer's season at Gourock Pool started with a splash, as kids jumped into its warm waters for the first time this year. Swimmers and pool staff are hoping for good bathing weather in the coming summer.
Royal Visit
St John's Primary School in Port Glasgow hosted some very important visitors when the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrived to join in on the school's Roots of Empathy programme. Kate and William spent a lot of time talking to those involved in the initiative and, much to the delight of teachers, the pupils also got to talk with the famous couple.
Election 2022
This picture, taken after the votes were counted for the local elections, shows how the new Inverclyde Council looks now the dust has settled. After a tense few hours of counting, the newly elected councillors gathered in the Greenock Town Hall Saloon for the quick photocall.
