INVERCLYDE'S MSP has criticised the UK Government after figures revealed soaring foodbank demand over the last five years.
Stuart McMillan says urgent help is needed.
He said: “It’s time for the UK Government to take real, tangible action to help households – especially as the cost of living crisis hits.
“The UK is the fifth richest country in the world and with foodbank usage at the rates they are, it’s abundantly clear that more needs to be done to help struggling households."
