A GREENOCK building society branch is highlighting its new financial education scheme for young people.
Yorkshire Building Society West Blackhall Street branch manager David Nolan wants local schools to take advantage of the free initiative, aimed at young people aged 11-18.
Mr Nolan said: “Learning how to effectively manage finances is a vital life skill and our research has shown that too many children in Scotland have limited knowledge around money management and financial issues.
"We really want to engage teachers, children and young people in Inverclyde to improve financial education."
