Inverclyde Council has revealed who will lead its key committees for the next five years.
DrewMcKenzie is Inverclyde Council’s first Independent Provost after elected members backed his nomination.
Labour’s Stephen McCabe was elected as council leader for a fifth term, with fellow Labour councillor Natasha McGuire chosen as his depute.
Elected members also backed Conservative councillor Graeme Brooks as depute provost.
The SNP's Elizabeth Robertson retained her position as the leader of the largest non-administrative group.
