INVERCLYDE Council has decided who will lead a number of committees and boards.
Labour's Francesca Brennan will chair the human resources appeals board, while Tory councillor David Wilson has been chosen as chair of the local police and fire scrutiny committee.
Council leader Stephen McCabe will again lead the policy and resources executive sub-committee.
Conservative councillor Graeme Brooks will chair the grants sub-committee, with SNP councillor Chris Curley named convener of the petitions committee.
