A GREENOCK man charged with using a crutch as an offensive weapon has had his sheriff court trial postponed until later in the year.
Ryan Drysdale, 20, had been due to have his case heard earlier this week but the matter has had to be adjourned to September for a procedural reason.
He is accused of brandished a crutch whilst shouting, swearing and making threats of violence.
Co-accused Toby Moore, also 20, is accused of shouting, swearing and making a threat of violence during an alleged incident on Regent Street in November 2020.
Drysdale, of Belville Street, and Moore, of Kilcreggan View, have maintained pleas of not guilty through lawyers Aidan Gallagher and Gerry Keenan.
