POLICE have issued an urgent appeal tonight after a man with dementia went missing from home in Greenock.
John Traill, 66, was last seen in the Carwood Street area around 11am today.
John is vulnerable and police say they are concerned for his welfare.
It’s thought he may have travelled to Glasgow and likely passed through Buchanan Street Bus Station.
John also has links to Edinburgh and Coventry.
He is described as 5ft 10 tall, of slim build, with grey hair and may be wearing glasses.
When he was last seen he was wearing a blue t-shirt, jeans, white trainers and was carrying a clear plastic orange A4 size folder.
Anyone who thinks they may have seen John or who has any information about his whereabouts is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference 1966 of 9 June, 2022.
