Kip Fest Fun
The Inverkip Hub joined forces with Inverkip Church and Inverkip Bowling Club for their three-day Kip Fest. The event was funded by the council Meliora fund allowing for a full programme of events.
Lion King Loving
Meanwhile in Wemyss Bay, primary kids put on a spectacular production of Lion King in their school hall. The kids will then go on to perform on the Lion King stage in Edinburgh Playhouse.
Fairy Tales
Fairy tale figure Rapunzel joined kids a Whinhill Primary School in Greenock for a day of reading and fun. Teacher Rebecca Cameron provided music and read the children their favourite stories for the day of literacy and culture.
Gourock Eatery Plans
Reporter Gordon McCracken and I met up with business partners Rashith Siriwardhana and Liuda Johnstone as they prepared to open their new venture, 1830 Eatery in the Albert Hotel in Gourock. The catering duo are breathing new life into the Albert and are looking forward to welcoming their first visitors.
